Plots(1)

Sequel to the 2006 dance drama Step Up. Andie (Briana Evigan) is a member of an elite inner-city dance crew called the 410. When the 410 pretend to be muggers on a subway car and then stage an impromptu dance show for the somewhat bewildered passengers, Andie's guardian (Sonja Sohn) ships her off to the Maryland School of the Arts. Andie's urban street style, of course, goes against the grain of the strait-laced school. Then Tyler Gauge (Channing Tatum), the main character from the original film, challenges Andie to a dance-off. If Andie loses, she agrees to take the school seriously and start attending classes. The film culminates in an underground dance battle with her old crew, the 410. (Universal Pictures UK)

English The sequel to the movie "Let's Dance" is actually more interesting than the first film. This is mainly because the creators focused more on the dance numbers, and there is much more dancing in this one. However, the template is still the same as in other films. We have a group of outsiders who first mess everything up, but in the end, they face a strong opponent and win. It must be said that the final dance number is truly perfect, and I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It is something unique and beautiful, which is further enhanced by the falling rain. The creators were aware of this, and they emphasized it even on the film poster. Why is it actually a sequel to "Let's Dance"? Well, that's the problem. They just used a brand that had some success. They simply took advantage of the fact that something worked. There is a character played by Channing Tatum appearing here, but only briefly and really just to provide a certain continuity. Otherwise, the film could work great on its own. The connection to the first film is unnecessary. The film grabs you with its opening number, which is cleverly thought out, well-shot, and interesting. It is not lacking in originality, although in today's world, where so-called mob actions are quite common, it is not that unique. I won't say that "Let's Dance 2" has successfully followed up on "Let's Dance," I would rather say that the film succeeded in terms of dancing, but the plot filler is really just filler to fill the gaps between the dances. It's fun here and there, and then it's boring. But the dancing does not disappoint. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/12/sherrybaby-lets-dance-unesena.html ()
