Retired New Orleans crime boss and widowed father Paul, (Jason Patric) is forced back into the life he left behind when his daughter Beth (Gia Mantegna) suddenly disappears from university. From Bruce Willis, this was very embarrassing. During the movie, I felt as if I was watching Steven Segal movies made after 2001. Afterward, I watched The Last Boy Scout with the original Czech dubbing and I felt even sadder. What happened to you, Bruce?

Nice cast of actors, even though the familiar faces are in smaller roles. Actually, it doesn't really matter because this journey to find the missing daughter is quite enjoyable. Nothing groundbreaking, nothing overly intense, but overall it works quite well, so I am more satisfied than dissatisfied.
