Father of the Pride

Featuring the voices of John Goodman, Cheryl Hines, and Carl Reiner, the show envisioned a family of lions in the employ of Las Vegas magician-showmen Siegfried and Roy. Surrounded by the other animals of the magic show and the wacky magicians themselves, parents Larry (Goodman) and Kate (Hines) struggle to raise their children in a stable environment. Despite the cuddly animated characters, many of the jokes on the show were firmly aimed towards an adult audience, generating the possibility of enjoyment for all ages. (official distributor synopsis)
