I'm not really the vacation type, but if I ever decided to take a break, it'd definitely be in a place where I'm not on the menu for sharks, crocodiles, or anyone else for that matter. No interest in donating blood to a mosquito with malaria or an encephalitic tick, and immersing myself in the brain of a syphilitic elephant is definitely not on my bucket list. And for the brighter ones out there, you can probably guess what I'd rather avoid experiencing in Thailand. / Lesson learned: Do not be too self-assured.
