Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love. (official distributor synopsis)

The Precious Fragmentation (2010) (S03E17)

English Even the Battle of Pelennor Fields was not as relentless as the fight between the engineer and the three scientists. The situation escalated when it came to track-punches. "Hey! Four minutes! New record!" ()

The Pants Alternative (2010) (S03E18)

English The eighteenth episode presented Sheldon with a big dilemma: if he accepts the award, he has to give a speech. Fortunately, Sheldon has friends who lend him a helping hand or a glass. "Where are seventy children when we need them?" / "And now something for the astronomers in the audience, get ready to look at the far side of the Moon." ()

The Wheaton Recurrence (2010) (S03E19)

English The nineteenth episode delved too deeply into relationship problems, but the creators managed to evaluate them excellently during bowling and in the debate about comics, so in the end, I didn't feel the need to lower my rating. Additionally, I was very amused by the opening of the episode, in which a brilliantly awkward conversation took place: "I love you." "Thank you." "You're welcome." ()

The Spaghetti Catalyst (2010) (S03E20)

English I enjoyed this. Watching Sheldon carefully maneuvering among his ex-partners was great. But I was most captivated by the final passage about the division of care in a broken family. I just regret not finding out why Goofy specifically. "Damn, they cancelled my Visa." "Ooh, a new Master Card!" / "Maybe you should back off, I'm sitting on thirteen horses here!" ()

The Plimpton Stimulation (2010) (S03E21)

English The twenty-first episode immediately became one of my favorites. The character Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton kicked the plot nicely, line after line, secret dreams were fulfilled, and she even managed to scare Howard Wolowitz, which is quite an achievement. I had a great time and laughed almost continuously. "I swear to God, I'm smart." / "With you, science truly comes alive." / "That's absurd! Tell her, Leonard!" "Nooo..." ()

The Staircase Implementation (2010) (S03E22)

English The creators worked brilliantly again and created almost a prequel to the whole series, and they succeeded. I have to appreciate the hairstyles of the entire cast and also the fact that Sheldon is the only constant in all circumstances. I was thrilled to be able to witness the signing of the famous "Roommate Agreement" and the last ride in the elevator. Excellent episode. "Can I sleep on your couch tonight?" "Well, you can try, but the people who live across are awfully noisy." / "Betrayed by my own spam filter!" / "Hmmm, still not comfortable. Of course! There are too many people here!" / "Don't want me to turn this flag around! Because you know I will!" ()

The Lunar Excitation (2010) (S03E23)

English The final episode of the second season was once again mainly about relationships, but this time the creators did not use them for boundless entertainment, rather they lightly repeated themselves. On the other hand, it is a fact that I enjoyed the attempt to destroy the Moon and everything around the dirty sock, I just expected more courage from the last episode of the series. "Well, one question. How can you be sure it won't explode?" "Laser?" "The Moon." / "We'll have sex!" "Why? Alright!" / "She won't come back." ()

Season 4 (2010) (S04)

English Season 4 was another success even though some episodes dwelled too much on relationship issues and strayed from the well-functioning concept of a bunch of geeks and their comic books, uniforms, and fantasies. Despite the five stars, I see this season as the weakest one so far, but I still had a great time most of the time and some episodes even managed to climb to the top of my ranking. ()

The Robotic Manipulation (2010) (S04E01)

English After a slightly unconvincing final episode of the previous season, the fourth season opened with a luxury episode that was packed with catchy lines and allowed Howard to play with a dangerous idea. Another great passage was Sheldon and Amy's date, with a detailed analysis of Penny's sex life. "What is your robotic hand stuck on?!" / "Your engine light is on." / "Your hair looks beautiful." "Are you homosexual?" / "Penny, do you think you're a slut?" / "It's not too late, you can still go check out number 32." ()

The Cruciferous Vegetable Amplification (2010) (S04E02)

English The creators in the second episode avoided relationship topics, not counting Penny's dinner "with an axe". Instead, they fully focused on Sheldon's quest for immortality, and they greatly amused me, whether it was the incident with the appendix or the consideration of what can be purchased for $1400. "What I am doing here is trying to determine when I will die." "There are a lot of people working on that research." / "I almost died!" "And I am calm and safe in bed. Who is the fool now?" ()

The Zazzy Substitution (2010) (S04E03)

English The plot of the third episode revolves entirely around Sheldon's relationship with Amy, but it never slips into any annoying territory. The creators managed to incorporate even more scientific jargon into the Shamy conversations than is typically found in regular episodes, and it was worth it. The arrival of Sheldon's mother was just the icing on the cake. "I don't like it. Stop it." / "Seriously?! Quiet?!" / "But no! John and Yoko." / "When you told me on the phone that you broke up with a girl, did you mean a real girl? Not something you created in a laboratory?" / "Your mother thinks that she may be losing her mind because of me. As a neurobiologist, I was curious." ()

The Hot Troll Deviation (2010) (S04E04)

English Howard impressed me with a fantastic four-minute passion preparation, but I enjoyed the Texas vs. Indie hardcore battle the most. Both participants used heavy calibers, but Rajesh, with his table the size of a small airport, came out victorious. Additionally, World of Warcraft was mentioned, which is a reality I am spending more and more time in. "Take me, Howard, my body desires you." / "Could you be somewhere else?" "No, I want to hear you two." ()

The Desperation Emanation (2010) (S04E05)

English The creators have once again released into the world one of purely relationship-based episodes, and they succeeded again. Leonard's circumstances force him to take a desperate step, and I had a great time, just as I enjoyed Sheldon's huge problem, which arose from mere misunderstanding. The solution was flawless, though. "Two words - deaf girl." / "Why don't you break up with her?" "I can't, then I would be alone, just like you." ()

The Irish Pub Formulation (2010) (S04E06)

English The sixth episode revealed Leonard's little secret, and to my surprise, Sheldon didn't blurt it out this time. The little game of truth that followed was flawless, and everyone had some unpleasant surprises. "Shame on you, Leonard, shame on you! And to think I wanted to waste my last good hemorrhoid cream on you..." / "You were giving me moths in my food?!" "For science." ()

The Apology Insufficiency (2010) (S04E07)

English No nerd who befriends a group of nerds can be surprised how his security check turns out. I had a good time again, even though I'm aware that I'm embarrassingly predictable, but what can I do. "Wait, I don't want to speak to the FBI!" "Why not?" "I'm brown and I talk funny." ()

The 21-Second Excitation (2010) (S04E08)

English The eighth episode was a great success for the creators. Sheldon polished his remarks to perfection, Howard, as a proper engineer, didn't have to run to the bathroom, and the whole screening event was fantastic. The ladies' outing was not left behind either, thanks to Amy, it was a true experience. "Are you sure you don't want to go with us to see the Conquerors?" "No, in that movie, faces disintegrate. It reminds me too much of when I dropped a vial of carnivorous bacteria in the laboratory with the macaques." ()

The Boyfriend Complexity (2010) (S04E09)

English Although the creators primarily focused on relationships, they also found time for Rajesh's work, which surprisingly brought us back to relationships in a small arc. The episode was slightly weaker than what I'm used to, but Sheldon's reactions to the constant developments and the casting of Keith Carradine kept the rating high. "That was weird." / "You must be wondering what all of that meant?" "What, the kiss and all? No, women do that to me all the time." ()

The Alien Parasite Hypothesis (2010) (S04E10)

English The plot of the tenth episode revolves mostly around Amy Farrah Fowler, and I enjoyed watching the scientific analysis of her feelings because both she and Sheldon, while great in their fields, face more obstacles in everyday life than anyone else. "Whenever I have dinner with his mother, I get a piece of jewelry the next day." / "Wow." / "Where did you suddenly find the courage?" "That's easy, the spider is crawling up your arm." ()

The Justice League Recombination (2010) (S04E11)

English It was not possible to award the eleventh episode with the full number of stars because Zack cannot disappoint, and the New Year's Eve with the Justice League was simply magnificent. It clearly showed that the best episodes are those that focus more on nerds, while the "relationship" episodes lag behind. "What the hell did I do?" "You laughed." / "You can't replace me with Zack." "Why not? Penny did it." / "I'm not talking to you." "Then who are you talking to?!" ()

The Bus Pants Utilization (2011) (S04E12)

English Leonard encounters only one obstacle in realizing his idea - Sheldon. If Leonard's project were the Titanic, Sheldon would function as the iceberg guided by the noise of the ship's propellers. The creators managed to once again utilize proven methods, and the twelfth episode could not disappoint. "You have a parachute." "Really? Why?" ()
