English I can forgive a slow start in some films, but there are times when too much is too much. There’s something bloody wrong when nothing happens in the first 55 minutes and all the stuff that makes horror fans want to watch a film is packed in the last 25 minutes, and with a style that makes it impossible to see properly. The premise of cannibals offers such a wide range of possibilities, but Welcome to the Jungle doesn’t have a single interesting idea. Besides, the amateur-like camera is very unconvincing and you don’t give a toss about the fate of the characters. Two stars for the beautiful setting, the attempt at resurrecting the cannibal genre and because the last half hour was alright. ()
