English Satisfaction. The craftsmanship is considerably better than in Malevolence, so perhaps the film could be more widely accepted. What’s a shame, though, is that, compared to the first one, the music calmed down quite a bit – unfortunately, we don’t get those unpleasant sounds (that always gave me the chills in this first part). The biggest shame, however, is the unremarkable, unconvincing and uncharismatic villain. On the other hand, points to the actor playing little Martin and also to the director, Stevan Mena, who on a low budget has made another film that I won’t mind watching again. I really hope he’ll go for something more ambitious. ()

English A case of a horror film being formally mature and satisfying in terms of violence and surprising deaths, but at the same time boring and dysfunctional as a whole. Good music, very good cinematography, and Alexandra Daddario with a cleavage, but a very silly dramatic backbone and suspense at its nadir. Pointless. ()
