English The film "Jennifer's Body - Watch Out, She Bites!" is actually a classic movie about how to deal with finishing high school. But it is presented as a horror film, a very bloody horror film that actually works and has strong aspects precisely because it goes beyond the limits of bloodiness, although not too much, and also because it is entertaining. I enjoyed this movie, although a bit of editing would definitely not hurt it. ()

English Although the concept of the film is a thousand times warmed-over from perhaps every possible point of view, the story itself is told in a rather appealing way. Megan Fox is downright delectable (though unfortunately it works just the opposite), and together with Amanda Seyfried they have created the quintessential beautiful/ugly girl archetype. After the excellent Juno, Diablo Cody has strayed into slightly more "primitive" but all the more fun and darker waters, giving rise to a typical popcorn film that delights and works really well as an unpretentious diversion. A weaker 4 stars. ()

English A movie centered on Megan Fox can't turn out well. She might be fine as an added element to Transformers, but a lead role is a bit much for her. Amanda Seyfried, on the other hand, surprised me again and proves she can play almost any role. I didn't like the film's music at all, though. I felt that it steered the film in a completely different direction than intended. This made it very unpleasant to watch. The direction is also not top notch... hence the 2.5 stars. ()

English It wasn’t as bad as I feared. The screenplay was definitely intriguing and, in a thieving blend way, original (you see, nobody has blended these ingredients together before now). In terms of acting, pretty decent (even Megan managed to squeeze something out if herself) and, if it weren’t for the tired direction, maybe I would have given one more star. ()

English While Megan deserves a full rating on her own, Amanda doesn't look too bad either, and the film itself surprised me several times with a good idea and a quality scene, it's still nothing more than a terrible mess full of stale sexual innuendo that blends comedy and horror as clumsily as one could possibly imagine. To be more precise, it's neither funny enough to be a comedy, nor scary or gory enough to even resemble a horror movie, which is a pretty big problem. So what does it matter that the hottest chick of the moment is in front of the camera half-naked and showing her breasts when she is part of such a boring and bland spectacle? And what on earth prompted the iconic Bishop to join in the crazy feminist games at the end? I felt really sorry for him. :) 50% ()
