English Another movie about bullying. In Sweden, Estonia and Germany - again in countries where few would expect it. And while being the most stylized (and most movie-like, it should be said), it is also the most convincing (apart for the scene with the pill). Ben X doesn’t shock with the violence it depicts, and doesn’t push at it as hard as Klass does. Quite the opposite - Balthazar boldly puts his money on one single card. Emotions. And the bet worked out. Personally I approve that he doesn’t try emotional blackmail at all. Which is a small miracle, because with a theme where the two most frequent words are “autism/bullying" there was a strong chance of it. ()
