The only person not to have grown tired of Alfred's self-centered approach to life is long-suffering friend, Brian. Alfred is taking Brian to Spain as their golden years approach. First, however, they have to deal with a few matters from the past. Alfred is a liar and trails behind him a string of disastrous relationships. His well-meant but, ultimately ridiculous attempts to set things straight are charming, touching and hilarious.
