English Blade of the Immortal is a very good action-packed anime series with a pretty good story, although I am sorry that the anime's creators did not fully deliver, even though the open ending did not leave me too angry. If I have time, I will probably read the manga, so the anime series has got me very interested. I thought the main male protagonist was very good; he seemed OP at the beginning, which may have been the reason for the nickname "the killer of one hundred" (or maybe "the one who killed one hundred men"). Thanks to the swastika on the back of his kimono, he was unforgettable, and I was also quite pleased that during most of the fight scenes, it turned out that he was not so arrogant and so he used his "ability" (or rather "curse") quite often. Even the main female protagonist was quite interesting, and many of the supporting characters were also quite good. It is just a real shame they did not get more screen time. The atmosphere, animation, and soundtrack were great, and to sum it up, I thought it was great even though too short for my liking. 8/10. ()
