This sequel to the popular Camp Rock movie follows Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), Jason (Kevin Jonas), Nate (Nick Jonas) and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. However they soon learn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the lake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers - putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy. Much to the campers' shock, Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin) ditches Camp Rock for Camp Star. When Camp Star's hotshot performer, Lucas Williams (Matthew "Mdot" Finley), challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp really has the stronger musical talent, everyone prepares for the ultimate battle of the bands. I was going to give it 2 stars, but I couldn't get over how at the end Mitchie, by the fire, opened her mouth like Lucie Bílá, and unfortunately she couldn’t carry it off as well. The story – ha, ha, collected from all different corners. The songs, choreography: High School Musical (1, 2, 3), Let's Dance (1, 2, 3) + a bit of originality. A strong one star. Thank you for helping bring my supersarcastic smile into the world.
