The potential was decent, and the exotic setting had a chance to make an impression, but the script and direction would have had to be completely different. It's not that the ballad-like story has a completely different character than pleasant Czech fairy tales, where good reliably triumphs over evil. It's rather about the overall clumsiness, senselessly dragged-out duration, where the director simply forgot to edit the film, and last but not least, about cultural differences. Overall impression: 35%.
