English Lynch’s daughter really disappoints this time. I quite liked Surveillance two years ago, it had a nice atmosphere, a good script and it was a bit Lynchesque. Hiss, in contrast, is a massive step backwards, a ridiculous monster horror movie comparable to a cheap TV or direct-to-video production, and, unfortunately, not only when it comes to the special effects, which look like from a completely different age. 3/10 ()

English Jennifer Lynch has made a film that has an Indian feel to it. In fact, I thought the film was actually made by an Indian filmmaker. It provides an interesting take on the horror story of a snake woman who wants revenge on the hunter. The execution is visually beautiful, albeit harsh. The film isn't necessarily scary; it's more psychological with strong fantastical elements. I liked this design choice. ()
