In this insane spoof, every horror movie ever made comes hilariously to life as slacker Stan and his stoner pals try to deliver videos to a deserted California town on Halloween night. After being stalked by realistic replicas of horror characters Freddy Kruger, Pinhead and The Creeper, our gang arrives in the small burg, which formerly contained a horror movie studio - hence the throngs of freaky, familiar characters literally crawling the streets. Our crew of two mischievous guys and two sexy girls outwit and outslash every cinematic horror character - or, in the case of Michael Jackson, merely horrific - to uncover the town's shocking secret: the studio's still at it, making movies of a very, ahem, different kind. When the creatures won't let our heroes leave, Stan decides to live up to his monster-slaying namesake's destiny. But first, he must endure a Survivor-style competition: gobbling down body parts! It's not total crap, but it’s close. About 95% of Stan Helsing amounts to an incredibly lame film that would love to poke fun at horror movies starring the most famous killers (Freddy, Mike, Pinhead, Leatherface, etc.,). But it’s not very good at it. Leslie Nielsen is responsible for the funniest moments, but he's not exactly full of jokes either (more like we are glad to see him), then there are a few other moments like Freddy's multi-functional gloves, karaoke, and the final scene. Stan Helsing is better than Scary Movie (the first two), but it's not up to the level of Superhero Movie (staying with recent parodies).

This really isn't funny anymore. I wouldn't mind at all if the creators made fun of horror films, but doing it this way really makes no sense. It's pathetic, it's tedious, and there wasn't a single joke that made me smile. That's really bad for a comedy. And the fecal humor in this execution is pathetic.
