English I had been missing the unmistakable atmosphere that accompanies the queen's dog and his faithful servant for those few years since the end of the second season, and I enthusiastically welcomed at least one more short return to familiar grounds. Though this time around we spend considerably less time at the main family's residence, it is definitely not some insignificant quick story. With luck everyone who managed to captivate us in the original series will show up, there will be a significant dose of new characters, and over time, some devilishly nourishing open ends will appear. The fundamental problem of the entire Book of Circus remains the question of how the viewer will approach the uncompromising conclusion. In some moments, the relentlessly ruthless performance unfolds so chillingly that I almost refused to believe it for a while. It is only due to doubts about whether the entire spectacle had to end like this that I'm giving it only an above-average rating this time. Thanks to its stable quality, it was just a whisker away. For fans of Ciel and Sebastian, an absolute must. ()

English Once again we have the demon Sebastian and his master Ciel, this time tasked by the Queen to find out who is kidnapping little children on the streets of London. So they go undercover in the circus where all the clues are leading. It's a short story that gives us just a taste of Black Butler, so the moment the viewer gets a taste of it, they say: "No, no, that's plenty", high five, blow a kiss, and slam the door. A great commercial for the manga. The story isn't bad, even though it's fairly obvious what's going on and most of it is pretty predictable, you keep watching and don't get overly bored with it. At first it seems like filler when they’re trying to teach Ciel how to smile, so we experience various hilarious situations, but later the story gets serious and a battle begins on several fronts, which I enjoyed. It basically ends like a feature film – that's how people are, Sebastian. --- Indeed, that's why I find them interesting. Period. It won't offend, it will please the fans. Slightly above average. ()
