Lloyd and Harry. One's dumb, the other's dumber. You pick which is which. Jim Carrey (Lloyd) and Jeff Daniels (Harry) deliver a delirious no-brainer as they hit the road to return a misplaced briefcase to its owner (Lauren Holly). The fellas don't know the case is crammed with ransom money. Maybe that's why smashmouth lowlifes are trailing them, you think? Best to leave the thinking aside as the boys and the filmmaking brothers Farrelly (There's Something About Mary) invent something really dumb... and really, really funny. (Warner Bros. An incredible parade of stupidity and one of the few comedies that can withstand a proper dose of foul humour while retaining the gloss of a funny affair that entertains even repeatedly.

Something just doesn't get old, but it just tires you a bit. The movie has never seemed so dragged out to me before, but now I actually enjoyed there being some silent moments. However, that doesn't change the fact that there are great jokes and that the sequel is so stupid that it's simply enjoyable. Jim Carrey is absolutely fantastic and splendidly pretends, Jeff Daniels complements him dangerously well. Surprisingly, even the story is not badly constructed.
