Plots(1)

The Vampire Diaries traces the sexy, supernatural vampire love triangle between beautiful Elena Gilbert and hunky Salvatore brothers Stefan and Damon, from their first meeting at Mystic Falls High through college, and to their ancestral roots in New Orleans, with prolonged visits to hell and back. Elena's diary entries, filled with longing and tragic loss; Stefan's steadfast devotion to right and wrong; and Damon's cynical, devil-may-care attitude are the touchstones of this pulsing, action-packed romance that grabbed vampire-loving viewers worldwide by the heart... and never let go. English Season 1 - 80% - Seeing only Twilight premises in Mystic Falls is as naive as expecting a Glee version of High School Musical (although I hate both of these works). This vampire relationship show has reached a high level of appeal, thanks to the number of characters involved in the story and the brilliant performance of Ian Somerhalder, whose Damon Salvatore is probably the favorite character after just a few sentences. The criticism is, therefore, directed at the script. The plot twists sometimes happen at an astonishing speed, and fitting three significant turns into half an episode can confuse the viewers. This occasionally affects both the character motivations and the understanding of their emotions. On the other hand, it also means that finding a weak or unnecessary episode is practically impossible. The finale left me hanging, and I still remember how eagerly I awaited the continuation. However, the mythology offered many undisclosed places, and it was clear that the creators would have to be very careful to fill them in the most logical way possible. Season 2 - 80% - Vampires are more inventive and faster in their second chapter, but they repeat the same mistakes. However, it must be acknowledged that the entrances of new vampire/werewolf/witch characters are effective. Whenever a new vampire/werewolf/witch appears in town, it benefits the story and provides new twists. However, these trivial plot devices, which minute by minute change the previously firm ()

English I find this series incredibly fulfilling. The plot never gets boring, the sudden twists often surprise you, and a love triangle has never been so hot. The ironic villain Damon is like a forbidden fruit that is impossible to resist. Relationship-wise, without him, it would just be a tale of unending love between the innocent Elena and the good vampire Stefan. 5 stars. Favorite characters: Damon. ()

English So the pilot wasn't worth much... if only they had at least looked like high school students, if only they hadn't ripped off Twilight and drunk everyone's blood, if only the beginning hadn't been so boring... but hey, we'll see what happens next. So, I kept going. It was only worth it in one respect – the restless, naughty little brother Damon. The rest of it is otherwise insanely choppy, from pathetic to horror. Oh, Elena, I love you so much; oh, Stefan, I love you so much, too, but since you feed on blood, let me keep my distance for a minute, then I'll give it to you, okay? They're ripping off True Blood, Twilight, and Dracula. If only they had done it better. A weak 3 stars. And 3 because I'm curious to see what's next for my friend from Salem ;-) She seemed fascinated by fire... ()
