So the pilot wasn't worth much... if only they had at least looked like high school students, if only they hadn't ripped off Twilight and drunk everyone's blood, if only the beginning hadn't been so boring... but hey, we'll see what happens next. So, I kept going. It was only worth it in one respect – the restless, naughty little brother Damon. The rest of it is otherwise insanely choppy, from pathetic to horror. Oh, Elena, I love you so much; oh, Stefan, I love you so much, too, but since you feed on blood, let me keep my distance for a minute, then I'll give it to you, okay? They're ripping off True Blood, Twilight, and Dracula. If only they had done it better. A weak 3 stars. And 3 because I'm curious to see what's next for my friend from Salem ;-) She seemed fascinated by fire...
