English It is very good that old movies are preserved for future generations. This is one of them. "42nd Street" has a beautiful visual and sound side, which is absolutely crucial in the case of a musical with a dramatic and comically romantic storyline. Even today, this movie looks gorgeous. It's not a big spectacle, especially in terms of plot, but the number at the end is definitely worth it. I don't know why, but it almost moves me musically more than modern musicals. ()
