The yarn begins when a jockey heads for that great post position in the sky during a major race. Mystery writer Paula Bradford (Arthur) is sure it's murder. Her ex-husband Dr. Lawrence Bradford (Powell) is sure she's nuts - until a dead body at the doctor's doorstep makes him suspect #1.
