A Hard Jay's Night (2014) (S05E19)

English The soap sculpture and the events around it didn't particularly impress me, and it could have affected my rating of the episode. Fortunately, there was an interaction between Jay and Claire, Phil helped Gloria with selling the house, and things were happening at Jay's party, so I was glad to forget about my dissatisfaction from the beginning. // "That thing is indestructible!" "But what if it gets lost? Stuff gets lost here all the time." ()

Australia (2014) (S05E20)

English The creators got me with the twentieth episode again, even if nothing else had succeeded, Crocodile Dunphy would have saved it all for me. Fortunately, he didn't have to, I enjoyed every scene, yes, even those with Mitchell and Cameron, so I didn't find any reason to complain and I didn't even look for one. // "No, I never eat something if I don't know what it is." "Says the woman who devours a pig's snout." / "Hello, I came to greet you." "Stewardess, this gentleman has nothing to do here." ()

Sleeper (2014) (S05E21)

English It was not a bad episode at all, it just wasn't as overwhelming for me as the previous one, even though Phil really tried his best :-) Other matters, however, were not as daring, although the visit of Luke and Haley at the public launderette was great. // "My first time, her first time... with me." / "I want to have an illness that the whole school will talk about." ()

Message Received (2014) (S05E22)

English Hmmm, basically an inconspicuous plot and yet I had such a good time. Once again, I managed to laugh at scenes with Mitchell and Cameron, and that means something. The episode definitely brought many lessons, so if I had children, I would be careful with souvenir items and if I didn't taste something, I wouldn't reject it. Well, I'm not so sure about the second one. // "Why did they keep it?" "Do I have a name?" "I mean the recorder." "Ah, I see." ()

The Wedding (1) (2014) (S05E23)

English It wasn't a bad episode, but my not very warm relationship with weddings, especially the pompous ones, came out here. As a big positive, I take that Cameron's planning will finally end with the wedding day, even though a false pregnancy could now be a threat. // "I can't just go there like this, just look at me." "I hate you!" / "Where did she come from?" "Because she doesn't look like us? I demand an explanation!" ()

The Wedding (2) (2014) (S05E24)

English But yeah, that amazing chaos convinced me to throw in a fifth piece. As I mentioned in a previous comment, weddings don't really interest me, but when everything goes wrong, everything that can go wrong, even a few things that couldn't possibly go wrong, I found that I enjoyed it. // "Just so you know, sometimes when babies are born prematurely, they are black." / "Oh, it's you. Despite the prospects of a great future, I didn't see you." ()

Season 6 (2014) (S06)

English I consider Season 6 to be the second worst, with the last place still held by Season 3. Some episodes were just too weak. The creators had set the bar too high in the first season, and this time they had to crawl under it. The humor wasn’t up to the standard, and the Dunphys’ new neighbors didn’t do the series much good. However, it doesn't mean that the show doesn't have anything to offer anymore, and I'm looking forward to the next season. ()

The Long Honeymoon (2014) (S06E01)

English The first episode of the sixth season has really disappointed me with its altered dubbing, Jay's parrot will never sound so perfect again, and Phil... His wisdom doesn't have the same impact on me anymore. The plot had its flaws, but Gloria's fight for Jay's elegance was well done. // "Manny, don't put Colombians on ice!" / "We are a family of arsonists, poisoners, and online prostitutes." ()

Do Not Push (2014) (S06E02)

English With absolute calm, I would overlook the peripeties surrounding the new photograph above the fireplace, just to prolong the debate between Phil, Haley, and Luke, it was one of the most perfect philosophical conversations in this series. The whole tour of Alex's potential future college was overall successful, and Jay and Gloria's anniversary only emphasized everything. // "He had no bracelet, the gift was the rabbit." "This one?!?!" ()

The Cold (2014) (S06E03)

English The illness that spread during the third episode caused enough funny situations for me to have a good time. However, I felt that the creators could have delivered an even better performance (they have convinced me of this many times), so in the end, I did not give it the full number of stars. 4*+ // "I felt dizzy. My head was spinning even from high heels. I was wearing stilettos. I don't understand how people can walk in them." / "With great beauty comes great responsibility." ()

Marco Polo (2014) (S06E04)

English The fourth episode was mainly made for me by the Dunphy's exile, the dialogues were great again, the scenes were well-developed and I was able to laugh enough. For example, Phil's selfless rescue of the family when dealing with an uncontrollable deodorant was absolutely amazing :-) // "You're sleeping behind my back here. I knew it!" ()

Won't You Be Our Neighbor (2014) (S06E05)

English "I noticed that when even the scenes with Mitchell and Cameron entertain me, nothing stands in the way of the highest rating. Saving Lily from a strict teacher was perfect, Jay's meeting with his old rival was very enjoyable, but the best was the Dunphy's fight for the best possible neighbors." // "Luke, grab the brush." "I don't think that's what Mom meant. Or did she?!" ()

Halloween 3: AwesomeLand (2014) (S06E06)

English "I didn't expect that I would have to write this ever, but Phil ruined Halloween for me. As for me, I would let Claire handle this holiday, as Phil has many talents but Halloween requires a horror atmosphere, and even Phil often admits that Claire is the scariest character in the series. // "But look at this, we have bunnies." "Hopiku!!!!!" ()

Queer Eyes, Full Hearts (2014) (S06E07)

English To tell the truth, the beginning of the episode got me, when Gloria hired a Spanish teacher for Manny, it was a tough situation. I really enjoyed how Claire was able to identify dangerous situations within the family and how Haley learned to end uncomfortable conversations with her mother. // "Have you seen my leopard skirt?" "The leopard headband was on the stairs." "That's it." / "Oh, Jay, this is wonderful, for once it's not me who looks stupid here!" ()

Three Turkeys (2014) (S06E08)

English Despite the poorly organized Halloween, Phil got another chance, and this time he thoroughly entertained me. I liked the idea of the creators to divide the family for Thanksgiving, creating space for plenty of funny situations, and now I can confidently say that it was not wasted. // "While we are the responsible ones, Thing 1 and Thing 2 are somewhere just having fun." / "That was an accident!" "Accident it may be, but you're a jerk!" ()

Strangers in the Night (2014) (S06E09)

English I had quite a problem with the ninth episode, I enjoyed Kristen Johnston's participation and the reference to The Usual Suspects, but otherwise I wasn't too excited. The plot around the white couch was quite uninteresting for me, and even the dog's birthday didn't exactly make me laugh out loud. This time it was weaker. // "Well, Larry is white." "You chose me!" ()

Haley's 21st Birthday (2014) (S06E10)

English I definitely didn't have to think about the rating here. The episode started off great, and the script worked perfectly throughout the rest of the plot, so I enjoyed it till the end. Haley was once again magical, especially when she unwrapped the gift, but most of the episode was stolen by Jay and Phil's shared moments. // "Just a moment, would you like to show your IDs?" "Sorry, but we don't have any senior discounts." / "I've already lived my life, so I can easily crash into the wall." ()

The Day We Almost Died (2015) (S06E11)

English The creators borrowed a method of constructing a story that has already proven successful in many movies, and it worked this time as well. I enjoyed following the individual storylines that intersected at a common point in the end, especially the tough guy Phil was great, but it still wasn't enough for a full-blown experience. // "I wish there was something you could teach me." "Ah..." ()

The Big Guns (2015) (S06E12)

English The twelfth episode didn't please me too much. The troubles of the Dunphy family with their new neighbors don't really interest me, the neighbors seem uninteresting to me, and the Dunphy's give their best performances when solving their own little problems. Even Jay didn't fill me with enthusiasm with the potty for Joe, and when I saw the little clown, I fell into depression. // "He grew up attached to a breast bigger than his head, not much scares him." ()

Rash Decisions (2015) (S06E13)

English This time, I didn't even experience a more brutal attack on my senses, the episode was "just" typically funny (compared to the quality given by the creators of some so-called comedy series), but I already know it could be better. Assistance from perfectionist Mitchell in his father's company, Phil's relationship with Andy, and Alex's utilization of Haley's experiences definitely deserve an extra half star. 4*+ // "At our home, we wouldn't even eat such a stupid dish!" / "You know, it's nice when people accept you for who you pretend to be." ()
