High above, where the clouds and the stars live, the Care Bears watch over the good on earth. One day, they witness the sorcerer's apprentice Nicholas accidentally freeing an evil spirit who puts a curse on him. With the boy's aid, the ghost plots to turn people's love into hate. The Care Bears team up with their friends from the Emotional Forest and orphans Kim and Jason to break the spell. Because to save the world, you need a good portion of love. Beige, pink, green, purple, yellow and many more. No, they aren’t Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs, but “gummy” bears – sweet and good. Just the kind of candy treat that I used to enjoy (for reasons that are now incomprehensible to me) in my childhood around 1988. And that is quite enough.
