English Jason Statham is becoming a bit of a genre unto himself. It's up to the director to decide how many villains he's going to let him carve up. In this film, it's the Chinese triad, the Russian mafia, and a few corrupt cops, which isn't entirely a bad thing from a moral standpoint, especially when Jason's beating them up in spectacular urban-combat style. However, if you're asking purely artistic questions about this kind of cinematic washout such as "What was the point of the safes?", you can be sure that you won't give it more than 3 ½ stars. ()

English The leaky story is compensated by fun twists and turns. The dynamic between Statham and the little girl pulls it forward. Alright entertainment. ()

English Lately, I've been getting into action movies, so it was about time I met Jason Statham again, who is probably the biggest action star of the past ten years, rivaled only by Jet Li with whom he also starred in several movies, not to mention the two "Expendables" films. "Safe" is not a film that deviates too much from the average Jason makes, but on the other hand, it is still a good action movie that incorporates something more. Jason has to stand against the Chinese, but he decides to save a little Chinese girl who grows close to his heart. This girl is also not ordinary, as she has a huge computer in her head instead of a brain. Mathematics is like walking for her. She can memorize incredible numbers, which is especially useful when it comes to account numbers or safes. Yes, we get to the point of what the movie is actually about. It is about opening a safe. Although a little more gets added to the plot, the essence still remains the same. It's an action film, a hell of a ride, where every shot looks like a punch from a cement fist. An absolute delight for relaxation, Jason Statham once again shows that he can handle a lot in one year and still maintain a fairly high level.
