English Ivan Mládek is also known (unfortunately) for the fact that the longer the lyrics he writes, the worse they are. Imaginative rhymes appear only occasionally in them, most of them have filler like "we have - we give" and the like. And just like with the lyrics, this time it's the same with his script. Seventeen minutes is simply too much for a slapstick in which embittered men, whose wives have been taken over by officials from Prague, sabotage various sports disciplines out of anger. Imaginative? Yes, for example, releasing a pond during an eight-man race or a hot air balloon obstructing ski jumpers are really great moments. And the music is also a pleasure. But a good half of the film is boring. ()
