A wounded foreign sailor (Thomson) is found washed ashore by a female lighthouse attendant (Pickford.) Once the woman nurses the man back to health, a romantic interest sparks a long-lasting relationship. In time the couple are married and have a child, but a black cloud fills the sky once the bride discovers her new husbands shocking true identity. (official distributor synopsis)
