Boog, Elliot and all their forest friends return with an all-new adventure that is their fastest and furriest yet - this time in a big top circus! The series lost most of what I loved so much about the first Open Season somewhere around the middle of the second one. The third film capped off the sad mess with an extremely boring story and much cheaper looking animation.

Why is it still called "Hunting Season", it's hard to say, but it's clear that it is based on the characters. Characters that are no longer even a bit funny and only show that to create an animated feature film, it is not necessary to have a good script, but simply perseverance. If there will be a fifth film, then anything is possible.
