Plots(1)

A piece of subjective diary jotting, based on free associations from the realm of film, music and cultural history. The central scene of the story is a run-down room in the outskirts of Moscow. That is where the author and his cat live, and from where he takes trips in time and space - in the streets of a Moscow in the winter and at the Lenin Mausoleum, as well as in his memories and in an imaginary world. The film is broken up into parts by his monologues. The other recurring scene is New York, with images of ordinary life, fragments of dialogues, - recorded from the "personal" angle of the camera.
