I tried watching Prague, My Love essentially without any prejudice. So how was it? The Panaroma opening short story is formally imaginative and adores Prague perfectly. It makes a mistake only in the stereotypical casting of Jiří Dvořák. Unfortunately, the episode Právnička just bricks a fairly decent idea into an embarrassing hallucination of Libeň and Vysočany. Květa Fialová is horrible as usual and Budař is once again the typical shy boy next door. Obyčejný jízdní řád is just a complete mockery that doesn't lead to anything, especially not the desperate "acting" of Marie Doležalová. And Tajemství památníku? I can only thank my former classmate Lucie Kajánková for fewer hours slept at overview lectures on Czech cinema up to 1960.
