Women are Heroes

A full-length documentary that deals with the topic of women's emancipation in the context of difficult economic and political situations in developing countries. From a film perspective, it is a precise work that relies on great camera work and editing. However, in my opinion, it gives too much space to the statements of women, who use clichés and pleasant proclamations. For me, it would be sufficient to rely on the image of poverty, oppression, and everyday turmoil underscored by a musical motif. Overall impression: 75%. (16/12/2012)
