Spiderhole

Plots(1)

Gory horror from director Daniel Simpson in which four students choose the wrong place to squat. Searching for an empty building in London where they can live rent free, art students Molly (Emma Griffiths Malin), Zoe (Amy Noble), Toby (George Maguire) and Luke (Reuben-Henry Biggs) break into a seemingly abandoned run-down property. They soon, however, discover the error of their ways, as one by one they start to disappear in a frenzy of blood-letting, and the realisation dawns that they are trapped in the house with a psychotic madman. English A bland slasher that takes place in an interesting and potentially atmospheric setting. Unfortunately, an interesting location alone good horror doesn’t make, for that you need at least some filmmaking skills, which evidently Daniel Simpson is lacking. Spiderhole is sinfully worn-out, sluggish and boring. ()
