English It is true that the illusion that filming begins with a finished script really is an illusion, but watching this brief glimpse behind the scenes of a specific Czech film from 1936 is amazing. When it becomes quite common to know more than two-thirds of Czech history than just two-thirds of sound feature films, then we can discuss whether potential viewers could be interested in all stages of film production as such. Until then, let's feel free to count film shows in feet and believe that it's a more useful and sober way to go. It is bad enough that the NFA is sitting on its fund with virtually zero outputs. ()
