Lisbon. In an institute for the blind arrives mysterious lecturer Ian and starts teaching space orientation. At first, his unusual method based on echolocation arouses considerable distrust, which is soon replaced by curiosity. A heart-warming film that plays with the audiences' imagination, thus introducing the world of the blind. One of its messages is that independence and freedom are not ... for free.
