In his surreal, lunatic satirical comedy, Nanni Moretti deals primarily with communism and water sports. Moreover, he involves the Chilean director, Raúl Ruiz, in the role of a metaphysical priest to complete his playful film. The main character, a communist politician and water polo player, suffers a memory loss during a car accident, and then spends the rest of the film trying to figure out why he ever even became a communist. The picture ridicules the desperate state of the communist party of that time while also utilizing Moretti's personal experience with water polo. (Febiofest)
