English A cold mystery thriller with a touch of horror from Iceland. The film has two storylines, with the second one intriguing me more – about a married couple and a friend who move into a new house, but it's haunted. In the second story an elderly woman is found dead in a church with carved crosses on her body. The main character is called in to investigate the case and soon learns of the dark history of the local community linked to multiple murders especially of children. Slow paced, atmospheric, nicely shot, well acted and with nice music. Those who like the cold north and sleuthing thrillers shouldn't be downright disappointed. Story***, Action>No, Humor>No, Violence>No, Entertainment***, Music****, Visuals****, Atmosphere****, Suspense***. 6.5/10. ()

English The Icelanders have a bleak landscape but no ideas. Otherwise, they would hardly have made a horror film where you spend an hour searching in vain for something to be afraid of. The twilight landscapes are quick to become familiar and one successful jump scare simply isn’t enough to make it work. ()

English You’ll watch I Remember You because you want to see an uncomfortable and dark atmosphere, which is what you get. It's as if the film makes you feel the coldness that spreads over the land, as if you know that something is wrong there. This is something that you want to see in a horror movie, and it's good. Icelanders know how to make unpleasantly depressing films. ()
