The film "The Skull" definitely has its flaws and loses momentum towards the end, but it is still a beautifully gothic horror that revolves around a skull. At first glance, it may seem completely ordinary, but it shows that a great atmosphere of mystery can be built even around such a banal, yet terrifying object. Peter Cushing is absolutely captivating in it. ()
