Protect the Boss

I changed my mind about a hundred times while watching this. The only thing I'm sure of is that there’s something different about this dorama. Be it the attitude of the main character, the openness, or the handling of the relationships. I really enjoyed the first episodes. There weren't many weak moments, no one particularly got on my nerves. I usually don't like actress Kang-hee Choi much, but here she's really great as No Eun Seol and it's not hard to like her at all. Same with Cha Ji Heon and everyone else, actually. 4 stars. I have to admit, it’s been a long time since I came across a heroine in a Korean series that didn't annoy me. This one was awesome! She was tough, most of the time she didn't let people, as they say, give her shit. Actually all the characters were pretty great, nothing over the top, it was nice to see them on screen. The story is interesting as well, it's not a drama with strong twists and turns, but I'd say that's a plus. A cool romantic comedy, where the beginning got me excited, then it went downhill, then back up again. Not bad at all. If you're looking for a great leading lady, you've definitely come to the right place. Not to mention that TXVQ fans had one of their sweethearts here :-D In some places it wasn’t funny, but it can be tolerated pretty well. A pretty nice 3 stars. (11/12/2011)
