English Another film that wants to take a little something from Tarantino and his school. That means they take characters that are not completely standard in the plot, which may seem banal, but is played out quite well. Well, blood must not be missing. But where Tarantino is truly capable of disgust in you, when you feel sick from what you are watching - how disgusting the ear cutting was in "Reservoir Dogs" - other films fail and only exhibit. Well, let's face it, even Tarantino is sometimes too focused on the effect, although "Django Unchained" and its scene with the dogs is not bad at all. Simply put, it's just about filming something right, not just unnecessarily bloodily. "The Baytown Outlaws" is a film where there is a lot of shooting, beating, and occasionally cutting. There is plenty of blood here, it sprays too much at times. In this respect, the film "The Baytown Outlaws" is only trumped by the film "The Man With Iron Fists", but I'm only talking about what I saw this week. However, "The Baytown Outlaws" has a relatively simple plot - but that's actually what it's all about, as I wrote. A trio of assassins is supposed to kidnap a boy. They will be paid well for it. But during their escape, several hired assassins will try to kill them, groups in which individuals are always connected by something - for example, the same gender or race. Quite interesting, but maybe too simple and cliché. The fights then become what really grabs you. The rest of the film is not as dazzling, mainly because the dialogues do not work in the case of "The Baytown Outlaws". They don't talk about anything interesting here, they don't talk interestingly either. So, as a whole, the film is not such a gem, but it can impress enthusiasts of unrestrained violence.
