In this documentary we discover that, apart from cinema, Egoyan is also interested in opera, theatre and contemporary art. Alain Fleischer finds him at the Montreal Contemporary Art Museum, where he is showing his installation “Out of Use”. The work deals with a series of human testimonies recorded on a tape recorder, accounting for the physical and sentimental link between men and the magnetic strip, just before it is substituted by a new numerical medium.
