At nineteen, Annie Parker (Samantha Morton) has lost her father unexpectedly and her mother and older sister to breast cancer. Although happily married to Paul (Aaron Paul) and expecting her first child, something just isn't quite right. A quite strong story, which despite its subject, tries to combine drama with comedic elements, even though any comedy completely disappears towards the end. At times, it may seem like just a manipulation of emotions, but the fact that it is a true story makes it very powerful. The movie "Decoding Annie Parker" didn't overwhelm me, but it definitely captured my interest.
