Shiiku, the Catch

Cambodia, 1972. At the height of the Vietnam War, a US aircraft crashes into the Cambodian mountains. The children of an isolated village capture the sole survivor... a black man. They keep him secret form the adults, as the man’s nationality, race and language don’t make him an enemy to them, but merely an animal that needs to be taken care of. However, the little Cambodian child from the ricefields, responsible for guarding the prisoner, has been indoctrinated by the Khmer Rouge ideology and his innocence is beginning to fade away.
