Former U.S. marine Storm Rothchild (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is now an unhinged teambuilding coach whose latest assignment is to take CHRIS (Adam Brody) and his own team of office misfits on a team building exercise. Things go from bad to worse as the whole team gets stranded on a deserted tropical island with no rescue in sight. Will Storm lead them to safety or will Chris have to man up, release his inner beast and finally take control of his co-workers? (Universal Pictures UK)

I don’t really know how to rate this movie. I’m happy that Jean-Claude Van Damme finally had a different role than usual. It’s a welcome change when he’s with different actors and a different director. I also don’t think he was there as scarcely as other reviewers claim. But on the other hand, this movie was a bunch of hokum. Sure, I must admit that I had a laugh here and there, but overall, it was more of a hokum than a comedy. I’m still contemplating whether to give it two or three stars because Megan Boone was pretty hot.

JCVD is simply a badass and comedies suit him quite well. He overacts, but honestly, I don't care. I love him here. The story is nonsense, a stupid variation of "Lord of the Flies," but it doesn't matter at all, sometimes it's funny. The characters are tolerable, even though the film itself is sometimes unbearable. Still, I give it an above-average rating because when it comes to JCVD, I can easily overlook any flaws.
