The U.S. Constitution guarantees each citizen the right to seek happiness. Happiness is a substantial part of the American dream, but how does one obtain it? For years, psychology focused solely on diseases. In the last few decades, however, it has started to explore the issues of happiness and wellbeing. An identical twins study has shown that while 50% of the variations in our life satisfaction are predetermined by our genetic makeup, a mere 10% fall under the influence of living conditions, such as education level, society status or salary. This leaves us with 40% available for leisure time activities which can make us happier. Director Roko Belic combines interviews with the founders of positive psychology -- M. Csikszentmihalyi, D. Gilbert, S. Lyubomirsky, and other scientists -- with stories of everyday people across the world who found happiness in sport, such as Brazilian surfer Ronaldo, in the observation of Louisiana wildlife like the guide Ro,y or in family and community, like driver and Kolkata slum resident Manoj.
