English Excellent plot, which is nowadays somewhat clichéd, but with the actors of that time and especially with the great Hugo Haas, it's simply a ballad for the soul. It's beautiful, at times quite impactful, and it keeps going and doesn't stop. Another great example of the talented actors we had and the good comedies we were capable of filming. ()

English "My idol..." A comedy that dared quite a lot for its time. It cheerfully mocked social norms and unwritten rules, beautifully showing that the darkest secrets often lie beneath the surface. It's not a constant explosion of laughter, but it's been a while since I've smiled like this almost the entire time. The main reasons are the brilliantly crafted verbal humor and the amazing performance by Hugo Haas. ()

English Another quality comedy with the excellent Hugo Haas and courageous Vera Ferbasová... But this time I have a big problem with Adina Mandlová. I don't know whose idea it was to cast her in the role of a curvaceous, unassuming and clumsy girl, but it was a bad idea and it's obvious that she feels uncomfortable in the role. The comparison to everyone else's natural performance is downright desperate. I originally wanted to give Morality Above All Else three stars, but I have to add a fourth for the swooning ending. ()
