Unfair world

Police investigator Sotiris wants to stop prosecuting meaningless minor offences. He begins to tell lie from truth only by looking the accused person into the eyes. The loneliness of the characters is emphasized by the background of empty streets of the metropolis at night. The subdued color scheme of the images, long static takes and slow tempo, together with piano music, create the atmosphere of depression that no news from Greece convey to the viewer. The question, however, is: Is the film a real child of the economic crisis, or does it just fit the atmosphere of today? (Febiofest)
