Six teenagers host the sex and drug-fuelled party of a lifetime in an old, abandoned asylum, ignoring rumours that the once brutal and controversial home for the criminally insane still houses the spirits of its tormented victims. After a series of increasingly daring games, they soon raise the stakes and attempt to summon the spirits that haunt the building. However, they soon find themselves fighting for their lives as a vengeful spirit infiltrates the group, wreaking havoc as it moves from one body to the next. (StudioCanal UK)

The money spent on this film could have been used for something more useful, like, for example, providing Marcus Nispel with long term psychiatric care.

"Exeter" is a product of modern horror in the worst sense of the word. It is an unoriginal spectacle that is not entertaining, but tries at all costs to come up with a story that is currently trending, in order to increase the likelihood that someone will watch it. However, it lacks anything extra, not to mention the fact that the film is not actually frightening. Marcus Nispel is a boring director to me, who cannot extract anything from the given subject.
