Rune Soldier is an average fantasy adventure with some pretty good humor and some pretty interesting characters. It is like Slayers or Gokudo the Adventurer, although Rune Soldier is not that close to their qualities. Still, I did not have the slightest problem watching this anime series. If I add it up, it deserves a very weak four stars like 6.5/10.
