This Youth Is Crazy

My journey with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone was quite long, as both of them started at the same time as ornamental porcelain dolls in someone else's films. But these days I can't imagine anyone else alongside my *ollywood stars. Just as things happened with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra, these are youths that deserves your attention. Their acting is better with each film. Ranbir was impressive especially in Barfi! and Deepika in Cocktail, so now viewers can be content and consume their experiences in a new and better garb. This Youth Is Crazy is exactly the kind of film that makes the festival. It’s a gorgeous colorful Bollywood romance, with lots of attractive exteriors from around the world, and a complex story about the discovery of true values that go paradoxically hand in hand with the most modern screams of the new century. People’s jaws will drop over the returning Madhuri Dixit because this is the type of diva whose hand and foot we kiss just for existing. And she nodded her magnificent little head and agreed to the haunting song "Ghagra Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani." If I were to add all the joy that all the small joys caused in addition to the main ones, I would be giving it something like ten stars. (13/10/2013)
