“From the creator of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” the poster says. The truth is, though, that Kim Henkel co-wrote the script of the iconic first TCM with Tobe Hopper, in 1974, and then went on to direct the worst TCM of all, The Return of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in 1994. Now he’s written the script of Butcher Boys and given how hard it is to believe this movie had anything resembling a script, Henkel’s performance is closer to his 1994 work.
