English Adam was just a jackass. I didn’t get how all the women in this movie bought his act, especially the mom who kept asking about him and she had this nonsensical desire in her eyes. I’d shun her, just like I’d shun the entire family. Adam has outright broken that family apart and I’ve got a feeling like I don’t want anything to do with any Adam at all anymore. ()

English In terms of its formal aspects, About Adam is varied and fast-paced with enjoyable acting performances, and it benefits from an intelligently written script with unexpected twists, flashback surprises and lively dialogue. All of its clichés are in the spirit of Argentine romantic soap operas, where everyone is entangled with everyone else and no one can decide what they want. And it is this feature that makes the film more difficult to digest in terms of content, at least for me. What I find difficult to digest, however, might in this case be considered ideal entertainment by female viewers who get more thrills from such TV monstrosities than from their own marital bed. They will not have to watch one episode after another just to find out what happens next, instead getting it all in an hour and a half, wrapped up in a tasteful and entertaining package. ()
